Several years ago, ECO-BAGGEEZ were conceptualized by Beth Race, a busy mom, while she was having lunch at work. She realized she was using 3-4 plastic sandwich bags in her lunch every day. When she multiplied that by the lunches her children took to school, the big picture began to unfold...

Each year, approximately 97 BILLION plastic sandwich bags are thrown into landfills in the United States alone. That figure is based on the 2020 U.S. Census and reported by Statista.
